Sales & Marketing Acrobat Online User Group

This virtual group focuses Acrobat and PDF features and issues pertaining to sales and marketiing asset production and support.

Note from User Group Mgr:

The Sales & Marketing Acrobat Online User Group has two objectives: First and foremost, promote enthusiasm for using and working with Acrobat. Invariably, there is something in Acrobat that almost anyone can incorporate into their own workflow to save time, effort, and even money.

Second, not many people have the luxury of time or the interest to poke around in a program for hours at a time. Most group members just want to get their work done. It's the goal of the group's chapter leader to share the results of her experiments with Acrobat to show users how to work more effectively and efficiently.

Donna Baker, chapter leader of the Sales & Marketing Acrobat Online User Group, lives on the shores of one of the largest lakes in the world, in the middle of the Canadian prairies with her family (human and beagle). Donna is retired from the Canadian Armed Forces, worked as a registered nurse in a nursing station in the Canadian north and a tertiary care hospital operating room. She taught in a classroom for a few years, and worked for a software company. She's been a freelance graphic designer for over a decade, and has written over two dozen books on graphic and web design software. Donna started writing online articles in 1998, and has been a contributor to Acrobatusers.com since its inception. Recently she began producing video content as well as articles and blogging content. To keep in touch with students, she's been facilitating several online courses for the past few years. In her spare time, she's an avid D-I-Yer, artist and sculptor, and intends to finish her latest undertaking this summer -- a 150 foot long stacked fieldstone wall. It's only 2 1/2 feet tall.

Donna is a lifelong recycler and repurposer of things. Acrobat lets her take that philosophy into the software realm. Using Acrobat, she can repurpose and recycle all manner of content for different types of display and output. Donna enjoys the challenge of digging into the inner workings of the software with the goal of discovering how to work smarter and faster.

Our group considers Acrobat and PDF features and issues pertaining to sales and marketiing asset production and support.  We meet online.  -- Donna Baker (Baker Communications) ms_baker ACE
